Philippine Society for Talent Development and National University Seal Nationwide Agreement to Drive Collaboration and Growth

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Society for Talent Development (PSTD) and National University (NU) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to foster a new era of cooperation and interaction between the two institutions. This partnership establishes a shared intent to collaborate on professional development initiatives, extending its reach to all NU campuses across the country.

A Unified Vision for Human Capital Excellence

The agreement was formalized through the leadership of Dr. Renato Carlos H. Ermita, Jr., President and CEO of National University, and the executive leadership of PSTD, including 2026 President Lawrence Co, Operations Head Olin Lee, 2026 Chairperson Rommel Ancheta, and 2026 Board Trustee for Programs Mike Lopez. Together, these representatives have set a foundational framework for increased interaction, allowing both organizations to explore joint projects and capacity-building activities.

By covering the entire NU network, the MOA ensures that the benefits of this partnership—ranging from networking opportunities to specialized membership benefits—are accessible to the university’s personnel regardless of their location.

Flexible Framework for Nationwide Impact

Under the terms of the agreement, the partnership is designed to be flexible and adaptive. While the MOA outlines the broad intentions for collaboration, specific joint projects and technical requirements will be developed through separate, detailed agreements. This approach allows PSTD and National University to tailor their contributions, budgets, and deliverables to the unique needs of individual campuses and specific talent development goals.

National University’s involvement signals a strong commitment to human capital management, while for PSTD, this collaboration reinforces its role as the premier organization for talent development in the Philippines, bridging the gap between industry standards and academic leadership.

This partnership, which officially begins on January 28, 2026, marks the start of a coordinated effort to apply acquisition-based competencies in the workplace. Both parties look forward to the long-term impact of this cooperation on the Philippine learning and development landscape.
