The Junior Philippine Society for Talent Development Hosts Fundraising Screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2
In the world of Talent Development, we often talk about "suitability," "culture fit," and "polishing" talent. But on May 1st, at The Podium Cinema 3, the Junior Philippine Society for Talent Development (JPSTD) took those concepts quite literally.
Against the backdrop of the highly anticipated The Devil Wears Prada 2, a diverse group of 48 attendees, ranging from PSTD and JPSTD members and seasoned pros to family and friends, gathered for a special fundraising block screening.
The Runway at Cinema 3
While Miranda Priestly might famously claim that "everyone wants to be us," the attendees at our fundraising block screening gave her a run for her money. The lobby was transformed into a mini-runway, proving that the #NextGenTD is as glamorous as they are gifted.
After much deliberation (and perhaps some judgmental glances over glasses), our Best Dressed titles were officially awarded to Ayen Porteza and Zeke Nicdao, who channeled pure editorial energy.
Nurturing the #NextGenTD
Beyond the chic ensembles and the cinematic drama, the heart of the event remained focused on mission-critical development. The proceeds from this screening go directly toward supporting JPSTD, our student-led arm composed of dynamic organizations from various colleges and universities.
JPSTD is where the journey begins. By bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice, we are actively nurturing the #NextGenTD. These are the future Chief Learning Officers and HR Leaders who will shape the Philippine workforce. Supporting them isn't just a "good deed"—it’s a strategic investment in nation-building.
A Special Thank You
This stylish afternoon wouldn't have been possible without our generous partners who believe in the power of talent and the brilliance of our youth. A massive thank you to LJMB, JoshJenJoy Gifts, MGen, and anonymous sponsors.
