PSTD Objectives
- To
foster closer relationships
and to promote professional development among the
practitioners of the human resource development
profession;
- To
serve as a forum
for the exchange and discussion of information,
ideas and problems related to workplace learning and
performance improvement;
- To
undertake studies, researches, and programs
for the purpose of seeking more effective means of
meeting local training and development needs;
- To
establish, maintain and develop contacts
with local and
international organizations in matters related to
training and development; and
- To
promote understanding
of human resource
development as a basic responsibility of management.
