To address the varied
interest and current requirement of the delegates, the
convention features four (4) convention session tracks:
1.
Sharing World Class Practices
Home-grown Filipino HROD framework,
researches, strategies and approaches that are “par
excellence” and at par with world class standards will be
featured in this track. Filipino trainers and HROD
practitioners working in multi-national companies both here
and abroad will share their knowledge and expertise in
building and developing the competencies of their
multi-racial organization. This will highlight the
contribution of Filipino knowledge workers in the world in
general and in the arena of workplace learning and
performance improvement in particular.
2.
Growing Leadership and Managerial Talent
The success of every organization lies in the
efficiency and effectiveness of its leaders — leaders that
will pave the way for greater commitment to human resources
and organization development. In this track, the sessions
will focus on the experience of different organizations in
developing and enhancing leadership and managerial
competencies needed in today’s competitive environment. This
convention track will also features the latest trends and
advancements in leadership and management development in
both local and international settings.
3.
Discovering Innovative Approaches
“Innovation and dynamism” are the keys to an
organization’s global competencies —keys that will ensure
their corporate existence in the future. In the light of
this phenomenon, this convention track will highlight
pioneering, non-traditional and out-of-the box approaches to
workplace learning and performance improvement. This will
also incorporate best practices with the touch of
innovation, cost-effective technologies, inventive and
unique methodologies and creative training techniques
implemented to ensure greater learning effectiveness and
behavior change.
4.
Developing HROD Practitioners
At
this day and age, the challenge is how to re-create and
re-tool the HROD practitioner to become holistic, well
integrated and even more effective in the field of workplace
learning and performance improvement. This challenge will be
addressed by the convention track which will put the
spotlight on the three major areas for the development of
the HROD practitioner: personal-interpersonal effectiveness,
leadership and managerial competency, as well as technical
proficiency. Just as it is their mission to develop others,
developing their own skill sets should remain a priority.
