CURRICULUM VITAE

Dr. Rosalinda Ora’a-Fuentes is the Vice-President for Programs and Academic Dean of the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI); currently the CEO of SOPHIA Association Foundation, Inc. – an OD Consulting Group.  Her degrees include the following: Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Science in Education major in History (Cum Laude), Master of Arts in Education with specialization in Curriculum Development & Instructional Planning, Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Development, Post-Doctoral studies in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the University of Hawaii thru a grant from Ruth Crymes Fellowship & Ford Foundation. With her various experiences both in teaching and human resource development, she was able to write two books on teacher training.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TALK

This is a basic orientation in the concept of Appreciative Inquiry. The session has 3 parts to its design: presentation of the concept - its background and principles, a sampler exercise to show how the AI  process  may  be  initiated  and  FAQ's  about  the concept.
