Mr Ramon de Ubago has over 22 years of work experience in Human Resources, General Management, Sales and Business Development. He owns and manages a group of companies primarily involved in  the people business.

He is the president and CEO of Alexander Consulting Group, Alexander Resources Inc., Cleaners and Runners General Services Inc, Life is Beautiful Inc., Global Top International Recruitment and chairman of the board of R2H Holdings Inc. He was president and managing director of Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems, Philippines from 1992 to 1998.

He graduated BS Industrial Engineering from Adamson University, Masters in Industrial Relations from the Unversity of the Philippines and earned a diploma in Entrepreneurship Development Program from Babsson College, School of Executive Program, Massahusetts, USA.

Description of the Talk

CEOs around the globe still believe that high-quality workforce is the primary contributing factor to the growth of organizations. However, there is presently an alarming increase in the number of disengaged employees who are not psychologically committed to the workplace, face morale problems and manifest unproductive behavior.

It should be emphasized that it is important for leaders to ensure that every member of his organization performs optimally. Life Orientations® Method helps leaders understand peoples’ life orientations, thus, improving personal productivity, increasing influence with key people and enhancing teamwork.

This session provides an overview of Life Orientations® and its applications to Leadership. It discusses the concepts of four Life Orientations® and the six Performance Improvement Strategies that include checking work environment for sources of stress, finding the right motivation for each team member, and gearing the team towards achieving peak performance.
