Mr. Norman L. Goss, Founder and President of the Norman Goss Training Services brings with him a wide range of experience in training.  After acquiring a degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Mapua Institute of Technology , he imderwent special training in various training aspects such as Curriculum Planning, Training Design, Training Instructor, and  Business Presentation Master Training  in Chacago U.S.A..  He is also faculty at the Washington SyCip Development Center, SGV & Co. At the Norman Goss Training Services, he designs, develops, and conducts behavior-based workshops for top management, middle managers, and line supervisors in the areas of business communications, corporate sales, customer service, and applied training technologies. He has conducted these workshops to over 50 government and business organizations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China.  

Description of the Talk

At the end of the session, the delegates will be able to describe the procedural steps in incorporating Belief/Map as an integral part of their skills-building training workshops. It is said that the weakest link in skills-based training courses is the effective transfer of new skills in the workplace. Belief/Map is a solution that directly addresses this weakness by providing an innovative instructional design tool that has helped over 90 business and government organizations in Asia in achieving a high rate of on-the-job skills transfer. These organizations include: BPKP (Internal Audit Agency of the government of Indonesia), Coopers & Lybrand  (Malaysia ), Danone Biscuits Foods Company Ltd.
