Rev. Mauk, is an American who hails from Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A.  He is married to a Filipina with whom he has five children.  He is currently Managing Director of the Rizal Re-Creation Center and Executive Vice-Chair of the Re-Creation Harvest, Inc.  He finished a course on Conservation at the Cornell University; a diploma on Bible at the World of Life Bible Institute and Lancaster Bible Institute.  He has made TV appearances in various Philippine television programs such as “Magandang Gabi, Bayan”, “Cityline with Cory Aquino”, “Saksi”, “Brigada Siete”, “700 Club/CBN Asia”, “Chikiting Patrol” and “Mornings@GMA” 
 

Description of the Talk

The spinning top has been used by Rev. Joseph C. Mauk  to  spread the word of God with the aide of a very unique technique – that of the spinning top.  For more than 30 years he has used the top to present illustrations of biblical truths.  He has collected a total of 200 tops of all sizes and uses  12  of them in his presentations.  His knowledge of the bible coupled with his humor, concern for the audience and use of a very innovative technique always creates an entertaining yet thought-provoking experience for his listeners.
