NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING FOR TRAINERS

Dr. Imelda Villar
Saint Scholastica's College - Manila
Presenter

Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Villar introduced Neuro-linguistic Programming in the Philippines in 1981.  Since then, she has developed her own NLP-based techniques, which were experimented on and proven effective by her doctoral students.  She continues to use NLP in helping others eliminate blocks to their effectiveness, productivity, health and happiness and to expand their options regarding how to handle various professional and personal challenges.  Dr. Villar has written several books on NLP, counseling and psychotherapeutic approaches, and managing emotions and behaviors.  She continues to teach in the doctoral program of De La Salle University and to manage the Honors Program and Masters Program in Family Psychology and Counseling at St. Scholastica's College.  She conducts workshops and delivers talks here and abroad on various aspects of Human Behavior in all types of settings.

Description of the Talk

In this PSTD Convention, she will tackle the development of world maps and how they affect attitudes toward themselves, other people, and work performance. This is meant to help HR people recognize obstacles to effectiveness in light of the fact that employees may be equipped with the know-how pertinent to their jobs or positions.  A few techniques on how to improve attitude and performance will be demonstrated.  Such techniques can be utilized as alternatives to the current talk strategies currently employed by most HR practitioners.
