Description of the Talk

In order to add meaning to the learnings acquired by participants in a training event, various methods other than the lecture are utilized.  One of these methods which has aroused the interest of many in view of its novelty is the story telling technique. This technique has been known to effect a lot of benefits in the learning exercises such as: 1) adding clarity to the visualization of learning application; 2) building credibility in a trainer or presenter because of the implied experiences he has earned the right to share; 3) keeping a topic interesting because listeners realized they are not the only ones who are faced with a similar challenge or responsibility; and 4) challenging the listeners to aim for greater performances when told of past  experiences of people who have been placed in similar situations as them.
